Who We Are?

We are a collegiate chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), an organization with a mission to grow the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who are academically successful and professionally accomplished, and who give back to their communities.

We're committed to building a supportive community for people of all backgrounds. We provide opportunities for students to excel academically, grow personally and professionally, and thrive as future engineers and leaders. We do this by offering workshops, initiatives, and community outreach programs that embody NSBE’s core mission.

End the Semester Strong with LSU x SU NSBE!

Need a break from studying? Join us for the LSU x SU NSBE Christmas Party! Come relax, meet new people, and enjoy some fun before finals.

NSBE Members Take on FRC!

On November 20-22nd, we brought an incredible 37 attendees to this year’s conference, our largest group yet! All of our members got the opportunity to network with their peers and some amazing professionals. We are very excited to continue to set the P.A.C.E as we head into the next semester!

November Member’s of the Month

Congratulations to Jaylyn Keeve and Eniola Oyadeyi for being named our “Human Torches” for November 2025.

Our mission is to:

To increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.

Group of people, mostly young adults, gathered in a restaurant or banquet room, celebrating success, with some making the 'L' hand gesture. Behind them are mounted screens displaying a sports event and a message indicating the event has ended. The room has wood-paneled walls and a sign that reads 'Alton & Sandra Sendy Banquet Room'.
